Part Time Cook
Qualifications:
• Ability to interact with all guests in a professional manner
• Focused on all aspects of hospitality and customer service.
• 18 years of age and a high school degree with additional college or vocational training preferred
• A strong faith in Jesus Christ along with the desire and ability to share that love of Christ with others.
• Ability to read and understand recipes and menus
• Dependability and flexibility to work days, nights and weekends.
Responsible to:
The Food Service Manager and the Sales, Marketing and Standards Manager.
Responsibilities
• Assist the Food Service Manager in meal preparation, serving and clean-up.
• Prepare, serve and clean-up meals on own in accordance with schedule and guidelines established by the Food Service Director.
• Supervise campers and counselors responsible assigned to help with kitchen duties.
• Learn, understand, enforce and abide by sanitary and safety regulations relating to food service operations.
• Manage kitchen inventory
• Help unload and store supplies.
• Clean the kitchen area. (floors, equipment etc.)
• Properly label, cover and store food inside the kitchen.
• Perform other duties and assignments as needed.
Compensation:
Hourly pay for approximately 20 hours/week will be appropriate to the position and the individual candidate.
