Women's Day
Join us for a day all about YOU, the Women of the ELCA.
Pastor Emily Carson from Zion Lutheran in Stewartville, MN will be the featured speaker.
Emily will be presenting on the upcoming Gather magazine’s Bible study, “In Good Company.” Since the curriculum focuses on stories of women in the Bible, Pastor Emily will also plan to bring in some of her own material to hopefully encourage and equip attendees as modern women of faith. The Bible study will be published in the magazine beginning in Sept 2013 through May 2014. The schedule for the day will be much the same as in the past, with a noon meal and afternoon entertainment.

Quilt Auction
The Good Earth Village Quilt Auction will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Our Savior's Lutheran in Spring Valley, MN. Take a look at some of the quilts and other items that were auctioned off last year. As items are submitted we will update this slide show so you can view the items ahead of time.
Middle School Youth Retreat
April 19 - 21, 2013
The retreat will start on Friday, April 19 at 8pm, and will conclude following Sunday worship at 11am on April 21st.
The cost for the weekend is $85, but if you register by Monday April 8 the cost is $75. A $25 deposit is due when registering. You can register online by visiting this link.
Youth Blast!
Youth Blast retreats are for kids in 3rd - 6th grade.
Join us each fall and spring for an overnight retreat featuring time for learning, games, hikes and lots of fun!
These retreats are from 7:00 pm on Friday until 4:30 pm on Saturday.
Participants stay in the Hilltop Cabins.
Cost: $45/per person (chaperones are free)
$15 non-refundable deposit due with registration.

Annual Meeting
The Good Earth Village Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday February 24th at St. John Lutheran Church in Owatonna, MN. Registration begins at 12:30 pm with the meeting starting at 1:00 pm.

Carols of Christmas
December 11, 2012 - 9:30 am - 2:00 pm
Get into the holiday spirit with a day of carols and singing! Each day will include a program of music and history of some of your favorite Christmas carols. A festive holiday lunch will be served, along with a morning snack and warm beverages.

Cost for this event if $25 / person or $20 / person for groups of 8 or more people.

Confirmation Kick-Off
Learn about trusting God and others through a variety of fun activities and bible stories. This is a one day retreat designed to get your youth excited for their year of confirmation. It's an opportunity for kids to meet other confirmation youth and know that they are not alone in their faith journey.
The Confirmation Kick-Off will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm.
Cost to attend is $25 per student. Adult chaperones attend at no cost. if you have any questions please contact our Program Director Jesse Klosterboer.

The Good Earth Open Golf Tournament will be held on Monday August 27th at Willow Creek Golf Course in Rochester, MN.
Pancake Breakfast
Join us at anytime for a hearty breakfast of Pancakes and sausage, along with fresh fruit and beverages. There will be Wagon Rides, Guided Hikes and Activities for Children.
