Jr. High Programs (Grades 7-9)
Move beyond your comfort zone! Our Jr. High programs challenge campers to truly live in community as they learn more about themselves, their faith and their God. Each week offers campers the chance to grow in their faith while they experience a more rustic setting. These weeks aren't about the "next big thing" - instead they are about the One thing that matters!

Experience community in a true “camping” setting. Explorers stay in covered wagons and prepare more of their meals over an open fire. There are always new places to discover! Hike to new places, explore your faith with new friends, and enjoy worship, games, crafts and campfires. Designed as a small community, a 1-to-8 counselor-to-camper ratio is maintained. Explorers even head offsite for an afternoon canoe trip, camping at a local park.

July 14-19, 21-26, 28-Aug. 2
completed grades 8-10

Located in the “cave capital” of the Midwest, Good Earth Village is an ideal basecamp for a week of cave exploration! See the wonders of the Minnesota underground as you learn hands-on about stalagmites, stalactites, underground creatures and the ancient processes by which our earth took form, under the guidance of more experienced cave explorers (spelunkers). Best of all, you can grow in your confidence and leadership skills as you bond with your group and discover more about your unique calling, within God’s awesome creation.

Get ready for the most rustic of our onsite programs... Along with a small group of campers and staff, you’ll get to camp in tents and create your own camp village in the forest! All meals are packed out and prepared by the group. As a group you can work together to determine your daily schedule and fun activities. In addition to meals, worship and Bible Study, possible activities include hiking, creek splashing, under-cover projects to serve others, games and campfires. Outpost is the perfect opportunity to explore faith questions in more in-depth ways, live in the outdoors, and grow as a community.
2013 Dates for Outpost:
June 30-July 5
This program is a partnership between your congregation and Good Earth Village. Campers spend time each morning with the pastor or confirmation leader from their church.
